We are here to help you reach all your fitness goals, whenever you are ready to make any health changes in your life.  While a spring is an excellent time to start a new fitness plan for many people, please keep in mind if you have any health conditions such as diabetes, HBP, or any other condition your physician is monitoring on a regular basis, it is best if you consult them before starting on a new fitness plan. We are sharing below a couple apps to help you with your daily fitness routine.

The first app is GoMeals by sanofi-aventi U.S. LLC, 

   GoMeals has a Food Tracker that will allow you to count the calories of your favorite foods from your local grocery store to popular restaurants. With the Activity Tracker you can sync with your fitbit to calculate your calories burned. The Glucose Tracker is a place to record and track your numbers thru out the day. You can find a restaurant with the database of 20,000 restaurants. Back up all your glucose records and fitness data on the Cloud Sync to share with your physician, or check when and wherever you need it next. This app is available for both Android and Apple. Free with no in-app purchases.

The second app we find helpful is Calorie Counter - MyFitnessPal  by my MyFitnessPal, Inc.

    MyFitnessPal boasts the largest database of foods at over 5,000,000 and growing daily. Thus making it easier to count and watch your calorie intake better than any other program. This app also connects with over 50 different devices and apps including Fitbit, Jawbone UP, Garmin, MapMyFitness, Runkeeper, and more! With MyFitnessPal you can import your own recipes, create a custom diet or exercise program and receive progress reports on you goals. You can even input your information and it will create a personalized diet and exercise program for you! This app comes with a barcode scanner to check on the nutrient content in food while shopping. Free, and does offer in-app purchases for MyFitnessPal Premium at $9.99 and $49.99.
