Jan Soloy, MS, ARNP
Jan is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the care of adolescents and adults. She brings a varied background to her practice at HFM, with almost 20 years of nursing experience, including intensive care nursing, prior to attending graduate school.
Jan earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland in 1993, where she was selected to be a member of the International Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau. Since then, she has worked independently and with physician colleagues in primary care, caring for her own patients in clinic and hospital settings. She has also been the sole prescribing provider at Kadlec Medical Center's outpatient wound and anticoagulation clinics in Richland, WA.
A lifelong learner, Jan will complete a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in December 2009. She promotes self care and healthy lifestyle measures as optimum health.
Jan's love of the outdoors was fostered at an early age in Southeastern Alaska, where she was raised by loving, adventurous parents who exposed her to nature at its best. She continues to enjoy hiking, fishing and boating and is an avid organic gardner. She is married to Patrick Meyers and has two grown, married children and two grandchildren who, as she says, "are adorable. I am truly thankful for these blessings!"
