Daniel Dingle, MAc, LAc

Acupuncture, Integrative Care

Daniel Dingle received his Master's degree in acupuncture after completing a clinically intensive three-year program at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine/Bastyr University in Seattle. He is board-certified by the National commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists and is licensed to practice in Washington. He is also certified by the National Acupuncture Detox Association and has worked extensively with patients who have chemical dependency issues. Mr. Dingle holds a Bachelor's degree in Asian Sutdies from the University of Washington.

As an advocate of complementary healthcare, Mr. Dingle currently assists with the acupuncture program at the department of internal medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center where he plans to participate in clinical research. He co-founded the Organization of Nurses for Integrative Care at the University of Washington and was on the executive committee for the NIH-funded program Integrating CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) at the UW School of Nursing.

Before moving to Olympia, Mr. Dingle had been in private practice for over 13 years. During that period, he founded Westside Acupuncture in Seattle, an integrated health clinic offering acupuncture, massage therapy, physical therapy and physician services. In addition to his private practice, he was an onsite acupuncturist for the King County Drug Court program and served as independent consultant to various treatment programs. He is experienced in collaborating with physicians and nurses on a variety of health issues.

HFM provides space and support services to Mr. Dingle. While his practice and policies are fully independent of HFM, we have been very pleased to collaborate in the care of shared patients.

When not in the office, Mr. Dingle thrives on rock climbing, listening to ethnic music, and spending time with family.
